Active Citizen South Sudan (ACSS) is a national, non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organization that engages on shaping decision-making process on national issues for peace, democratic process and development.
We engage South Sudanese youth living as urban refugees in Nairobi Kenya through sports as platform to mend their torned social fabric and build relationships.
With support from #EmpowermentProject, funded my #EU and #NRC, we are rebuilding broken social fabric in Mangateen #SouthSudan among the South Sudanese youth and communities.
Our campaign message #HibJERAN in Arabic meaning – “Love Your Neighbor” is bringing communities together.

A short film by Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) based on their project called “Unlearning Violence and Promoting Peace” in South Sudan. The film looks at both the drivers for conflict and opportunities for peace featuring South Sudanese youth organizations that are part of the project.
