South Sudanese celebrated peace day in Juba to mark new hope of mending broken social fabric on October 31st, 2018. Congratulation to citizens of South Sudan.
South Sudanese in Nairobi came out in large number on December 28th, 2018 as we marked the year to campaign for peace ,under theme#NinaLisaHakuwan. There were great performances from thirteen multi-ethnic cultural groups, sports clubs and kids running race.
Active Citizen South Sudan utilized the platform to urge the community to build peace and reconcile with each other and heal the broken social fabric, despite the five years conflict in South Sudan.
We engage South Sudanese youth living as urban refugees in Nairobi Kenya through sports as platform to mend their torn social fabric and build relationships.South Sudan has gone through worse conflict in the last five years. The signing of the revitalised agreement on the resolution of conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) create new hope for many citizens.
